Have you ever had a moment of clarity when you realize how precious you are? 

When I suggest precious, I mean priceless—a one-of-a-kind. I liken this moment to stepping out from behind the shadows of life.  

Your life.

As you step on stage, the lights are bright, and adjusting your mindset can be painful. However, once you acclimate, the fierceness inside you can no longer be silenced. 

This return to me is precisely what I have been up to since March 2020.  

With this return, I have exposed vulnerability in singing my unique Empathy Uprise songs and learned to accept that, like art, some people will appreciate my big-picture message, but others do not. 

And you know what? That is ok. 

As I frequently share with anyone open to listening to learn, empathy, to be seen, heard, and understood does not mean that we should agree on everything. Still, we must acknowledge that no two lived experiences are the same, and just like us, our conversation partner is priceless.
